Finally, get a true understanding of your migraines

I'm currently a patient for Post Concussion Syndrome with Dr. Daniel Perman and I can't recommend him enough! I've been a working stuntwomen the past 15 years and had experienced one too many head hits and whiplash over time. I had tried so many things to relieve my brain fog, dizziness, and concentration problems. Small tasks were becoming harder, but what finally got me in the office was my eye sight. As a mother of a 7 year old, I was desperate to fix this, if anything, so I could read with her without feeling dizzy. It's now April and I have successfully been able to home school my daughter during this Covid-19 quarantine without any symptoms. I was given easy tools to practice at home which have greatly improved my vision. I haven't felt brain fog, dizziness or headaches since January. I look forward to continuing my journey to improving my brain and hormonal health!

Ever since the age of twelve and now 29 years later I have suffered from debilitating migraines. I tried medications, Botox, chiropractics, and acupuncture to no avail. If I didn't already wake up with a migraine I would still wake up with a headache that would progress to one by the end of the night if not treated by medication. I was treated by Dr. Perman just a few days ago for vertigo, and am so impressed! He was incredibly flexible in his availability to see me, and immediately showed concern for my health and safety. I hit my head against a granite counter top a year ago and have been dizzy with vision issues ever since. I came to Dr. Perman because physical therapy, chiropractics and craniosacral therapy all didn't help and he specializes in neurological brain issues. Dr. Perman (whose background education includes both doing research at Harvard, and finishing functional neurology programs early) got me, within a week, to a point where I can stand with my eyes closed and not tip over, as well as being able to read what I'm writing without it being blurry. He is passionate about functional neurology and very skilled. I recommended him to some of my family members with neurological issues too.

Dr. Perman is incredibly knowledgeable, up front, and efficient. This guy knows what he's doing, and it's clear that his time is very valuable, so come with questions and get all the answers you can during your appointment, but try not to interrupt him until he's done. I've (unknowingly) struggled with post concussion syndrome for more than 6 years now, with the symptoms exacerbated after a second concussion/fall last year. Dr. Perman is the first doctor to give me any sort of validation for the symptoms I have been experiencing and has given me hope for treatment without making any promises he can't keep.
